This bean has low acid, flashes of bitter with sweet, bourbon-like complexity, herbal notes, spice, smooth, rich, not musty, great lingering aftertaste; and some would say its "earthy".  It is all that and more. We love this roast pushed into second crack, meaning closer to dark roast. This will blend beautifully for a classic espresso.
